The Electrical Utility Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to meet the needs of the student interested in attaining entry-level knowledge and skill necessary to work in the electrical utility industry. The program also provides the student with an avenue to pursue opportunities in other areas of the utility industry. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge, work ethics, and practical skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of electrical utility theory and practical application necessary for employment. Program graduates receive an Electrical Utility Technology diploma or Associate of Applied Science degree. This program is offered by the Electrical Utility Technology (EUT) department.
